Diwali Celebrations
 

To celebrate the spirit of Diwali at Cygnus we have declared the 27th of this month as a traditional day. We would request you all to wear traditional outfits for the day and liven up the place with the festive mood. We will also have a Rangoli competition on the same day. The best dressed male and female employees along with the winners of the rangoli competition will receive prizes and will feature on the cover of the next issue of E-Tarang. The awards will be decided by a closed ballot system wherein a volunteer will approach you with a ballot box and you can anonymously vote. Your opinion will decide the winner.

The Rangoli competition will be for 45 min from 10.00 -10.45 am. So do give your names for the competition to me latest by 24 Oct 2008.
 

Rangoli on the occasion of Diwali was an experience of its own kind… the gentle and strong breeze all around uplifted my spirits. Humor and encouragement from one and all set the right mood for creativity to bloom the festive look.  I was astonished to be selected as the winner of the Rangoli competition.

RANGOLI IS CONSIDERED VERY AUSPICIOUS IN HINDU CALENDER.  Rangoli at Cygnus was a great experience – we could see and feel the colours all over.  The colours definitely show the strength and unity of different tastes.
