A Note on Reward & Recognition
 

Cygnus Quarterly Business Conference for AMJ 2010 was held in our head office on 22 & 23 April 2010. It was attended by all Business Development Personnel from all branches. Delivery teams participated on the Apr 22 forenoon sessions.

On Apr 22 evening, there was a get together of all employees.
The program started with a small speech by our Director Mr ORS Rao who congratulated everyone for their efforts and performance during 2009-10. In order to motivate High Achievers among Sales, Delivery and Support teams were recognised by way of a Certificate for their meritorious performance and a gift voucher.

The award winners for the evening were:

Mr. KIRAN JADHAV
 Kiran has been working with Cygnus as a Business Development Executive for the past 2 years at Mumbai Branch. Kiran has been consistently performing very well for the whole of 2009-10 and his manpower productivity has been the highest among all executives across the country. No wonder Mumbai has been the most profitable branch and growth of revenue of Mumbai branch is one of the highest. 

Mr. RANJIT CHANDRA
Ranjit is working as a Research Associate in TEV team for the past one-and-half years. Ranjit has earned customer satisfaction for   the projects assigned to him by way of completion of all the projects with in committed time frames, without sacrificing quality. This resulted in repeat orders from a number of customers.

Mr. BALAJI KUMAR TIRUMALASETTY

Balaji has been working as an Admin Executive for more than 6 years with Cygnus. Balaji has played a pivotal role in smooth shifting of our HO premises during last year wherein we shifted 2 premises.  Balaji took meticulous care to ensure that no assets were lost or damaged during he shifting process.

Mr. PRASHANTH PALAPARTHY

Prashanth has been working for more than 2 years. He is creative, dedicated and also contributes to E- tarang designing activities, besides preparation of Brochures / Cover pages for all reports and preparation of marketing materials.

We congratulate all winners and wish them a very happy and fulfilling career with Cygnus.

On this occasion, a number of our employees got nostalgic and went down the memory lane and shared some of their experiences with Cygnus.

Mr. Pranay Kumar, Chief Manager mentioned that his professional journey at Cygnus has been enriching. Pranay has been with the company right from the inception.

Mr.  KOUSHIK CHAKRABORTY, Senior Manager said that his learning at Cygnus has been tremendous. He feels proud when our old employees call him and thank him for the learning opportunities, Cygnus has given them .He also shared the success formula for his happiness in life - 3H Principle - “Honesty, Humour & Hard work. He advised all the employees to give their best and work professionally.

Mr Amitava Roy, Manager reminisced the days when  he was new to TEV studies and  finance and how  with the help of  colleagues like Mr.Pranay he was able to learn finance and scale up TEV studies  to such a great height.

Mr Radhakrishna, Deputy Manager, recalled how he started his career with CYGNUS preparing Industry monitors, which was new for him and how he and his team have grown in the last few years...

Mr Samir Ghosh, Zonal Manager highlighted his leanings during his tenure at Cygnus and is still in the process of learning many things under the guidance of Mr ORS Rao.

Ms Indu Chauhan, Asst Marketing Manager thanked Cygnus for learning opportunities Cygnus has given and how the employees are moulded by Cygnus. She added that she thoroughly enjoys her work in Cygnus, which is very challenging.

Mr GV Sandeep, Deputy Manager & Mr Rambabu, Coordinator narrated how they started their career with Cygnus and how they have grown professionally and personally.

Mr Vijay Vedantam, Branch Manager Hyderabad mentioned that he has been watching the progressive development of various products from the scratch and how happy he is to be a part of the winning team.

Mr Surya Kiran, Sr. Research Analyst thanked Mr Koushik Chakraborty, under whose guidance he has grown. He feels that now he can work as an analyst confidently.

 

The program ended with light refreshments.
